Hyannis Park Civic Association's leadership represents our neighborhood's interest at Town Hall. A number of our leaders have served in official Town capacities over the years and currently. This level of commitment to our Town and neighborhood have lent credibility and clout to HPCA's voice. We are proud that our Town seeks out HPCA's opinion on all important matters. 

HPCA recognizes the realities of living in a predominantly seasonal community. HPCA has long advocated more patrolling of our neighborhood and achieved it.  Our partnership with Yarmouth Police Department is outstanding. This does not exempt us from crime. Our Neighborhood Watch network is effective and growing. Every year we add new street and block captains to our ranks. 

HPCA plans neighborhood events to foster a sense of community and to give members an opportunity to meet each other from across the Park.  We sponsor Park-wide events like picnics, cruises, yard sales, and educational beach walks.  While some events are free to members, some may have a nominal cost for our members. 

HPCA is committed to the stewardship of our neighborhood's ecosystems. From Bayview Beach to Mill Creek we remain steadfast in managing the ever-changing environment we call our neighborhood. Our leadership maintains visibility in front of Town officials to ensure that we secure optimal attention to our natural environment. In addition HPCA is proud to sponsor Earth Day clean-ups throughout the Park. 

HPCA is also committed to the preservation of our beloved coastal village life and all that it offers to our year round and seasonal residents. We can not reproduce this culture anywhere else. The greater Hyannis Park neighborhood is blessed with an abundance of good folk who create the fabric of this village life.  And we celebrate their ethnic diversity.
